Surpassing initial expectations, Michiana.Life's Facebook following has swiftly grown to 3,500+ people, marking it as the fastest-growing network in GreatNews.Life's 16-year history. This surge underscores the abundance of uplifting stories in the Michiana region and the community's warm reception to an all-positive news platform.
The newsletter's reach has expanded to over 750 subscribers, ensuring readers stay informed about the latest positive developments. On LinkedIn, the platform has garnered over 700 followers, positioning it among the largest professional groups serving the region.

How have we grown so consistently? Great News begins at school
Michiana.Life has distinguished itself by providing extensive high school sports coverage, more than any other media outlet in the region. Sports featured include football, gymnastics, volleyball, cross country, soccer, basketball, swimming, and wrestling. Schools covered encompass South Bend John Adams, Riley, Washington, Penn, Mishawaka, Elkhart, Goshen, Saint Joseph, Marian, and Career Academy.
Through the GreatNews.Life Student Voices program, Michiana.Life has recruited student journalist interns from Penn, Marian, John Adams, and Riley high schools. We provide training, pay them for their work, and publish their stories on our sites, and plans to expand the program to every high school in the region are already underway.
