Faster speeds mean even better surfing, streaming, teleconferencing and gaming experiences

Today, thousands of Xfinity Internet customers in Northern Indiana woke up to faster speeds – in some cases twice as fast – at no additional cost. Comcast announced today that it’s increasing speeds across the following Xfinity Internet tiers for new and existing customers:

“For more than 20 years, Comcast has regularly increased Internet speeds to power our customers’ increasingly connected lives,” said Chris Smith, Comcast’s Regional Senior Vice President. “Today, our customers have over 30 connected devices, an increase of more than a third since 2021. And with the growth in streaming, especially live sports, gaming and other applications that use a lot of data, we invest continuously to meet our customers’ needs in the short and long term.”

Comcast has invested more than $560 million in Indiana alone in the last three years to upgrade and evolve its Xfinity network to deliver even faster, more reliable service and provide the best possible streaming, surfing, teleconferencing and gaming experience. Comcast’s investments in its Xfinity network have not only allowed the company to increase Internet speeds, they help to increase service reliability, make in-home WiFi coverage even more robust and improve cybersecurity.
