South Bend Riley High School hosted the IHSAA Girls 2024 Sectional Swimming Prelims on February 1. Participating schools included Bremen, Mishawaka High School, Marian High School, New Prairie, Penn, South Bend Adams, South Bend Clay, SB Riley, South Bend St. Joesph, South Bend Washington.
In the 200 Yard Medley Relay, Penn’s Woods, Guenthar, Riggins, and Christianson won with a time of 1:52:85.
In the 100 Yard Backstroke, Sophomore Addy Szakaly won with a time of 59.83 seconds. Back in 2023 Szakaly set the meet record with a time of 56.66 seconds.
