Crown Point proved to be top dogs in the sectional championship game against the Penn Kingsmen.
The bulldogs opened up scoring with a pass to Trevor Wright and shortly after with a 60 yard run by Larry Ellison. Ellison scored twice more in the second quarter, with a 96 yard drive led by quaterback Noah Ehrlich, who followed up and scored with a scramble for the two point conversion. Halftime score 28-0.
Crown Point fumbled early in the third quarter on the Penn 5 yard line. Penn started to move the ball until a costly interception by Trevor Gibbs. Ellison added another touchdown to finish off the Kingsmen 35-0.
