“Our game plan going in was just to field the ball, and make the play. When you get to make to make the plays hitting, we just needed to throw strikes, and he (Kotinek) threw a really good game…that’s where we really concentrated. Pushing everything to the right side and it got us the lead. Our pitching took over and I thought our pitchers (Kotinek and Orozco) did really well today. Wonderful group of kids in the Washington sideline over there. They’re great kids. Long season, we’re going to begin tomorrow and it’s our senior night so our kids better be ready because I know they’re (SB Washington) going to be ready. It’s just nice to see that bond in schools; can get together, can play together, and everything is just smooth. But the thing with football is that there’s flag football. If a girl wants to play football with pads, she can. If a girl wants to play baseball, she can.
