Event Information
The James Whitcomb Riley High School Drama Club is bringing "Tragedy Tomorrow Comedy Tonight" to students, parents, and audience members this October! Featuring student-directed one-act plays, the show promises to be a side-splitting good time for all involved.
"They Eat Sunshine, Not Zebras" by Dara Murphy follows the story of a field of grass when a dandelion sprouts in their midst. Follow the tale of Sunny as she endeavors to befriend a community that believes she has no right to be there in this half-hour laugh riot!
Conclude your evening with a peek into the true secret life of superheroes: adulthood. Can Hulk smash his taxes? What does Batman do in his free time? Do sidekicks deserve the spotlight too? Find out in Riley High School's rendition of "Superheroes" by Ian McWethy.
Tickets are available at the door or online at a discounted rate. With evening Saturday and afternoon Sunday showtimes, there's plenty of opportunity to catch these specials shows.
