GreatNews.Life—publisher of Valpo.Life, Portage.Life, LaPorteCounty.Life, NWI.Life, and Michiana.Life—is seeking a full-time sales account representative to join the team. As a representative with GreatNews.Life, your primary role will be creating long-term, trusting relationships with marketing partners. Additional tasks will include meetings with potential clients, attending networking events, and ensuring current partners are well cared for.
To succeed in this entry-level sales position, you will need to have a sales-driven mentality to meet ambitious individual sales goals. This position is best suited for someone who is self-motivated, honest, and who understands and embraces our mission and culture.
Primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Create new customer relationships to meet monthly sales quotas.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
- Upkeep an engaged ongoing social media presence across multiple platforms.
- Manage multiple accounts, ensuring that a high level of customer retention and satisfaction is maintained.
- Produce a high level of professional outbound sales calls.
- Maintain a high level of sales activity.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and client relationships.
- Coordinate sales with team members and other departments.
- Provide management with reports on client needs, interests, events and feedback.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, and merchandising techniques.
- Continuously improve through feedback.
- Other duties as assigned.
