Fiber-optic internet service provider Surf InternetSM has announced the appointment of Steve Miller as Vice President of Outside Fiber Plant Engineering and Construction. With a distinguished career in Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) and Outside Plant (OSP) operations, Miller brings a wealth of experience and leadership to further strengthen Surf Internet's commitment to expanding its fiber network infrastructure to over 200,000 passings by 2024.
In this new role for Surf, Miller will oversee the strategic planning, engineering, and execution of Surf Internet's rapidly growing fiber network. With a sharp focus on attention to detail and a proven track record of managing large-scale and small-scale FTTH engineering and construction projects concurrently, Miller is well-equipped to lead Surf's efforts in delivering high-quality fiber-optic internet services to customers.

Miller's impressive background includes over 30 years of industry experience in engineering/construction management roles for Time Warner Cable, Charter Communications, ITC Service Group, and, most recently, MetroNet. In these roles, he consistently demonstrated the ability to maintain stability and stimulate growth in organizations undergoing significant transitions. His expertise in developing, negotiating, and administering contract agreements, combined with his exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and efficiency optimization skills, make him a valuable addition to Surf’s leadership team.
