On Tuesday, June 18, Surf Internet proudly sponsored the dinner and awards at the Builders Association of Elkhart County’s Under the Stars Celebration Night. This event honored the builders who contributed to the Parade of Homes, providing a platform to recognize their work.
The evening commenced in the Chelton Glen neighborhood in Bristol, Indiana, buzzing with members of the Builders Association of Elkhart County and local builders. Guests enjoyed some delicious food, refreshing drinks, and live music while also having the chance to tour some of the featured homes.
Gene Crusie, CEO of Surf Internet, expressed his excitement about the company’s involvement in the event.
“It's an honor and a privilege to be one of the sponsors for this celebration,” Crusie said. “We aim to ensure that everyone looking to build a house here has access to the fastest internet. This event is a great way to show our support.”
Niki Groves, executive officer at the Builders Association of Elkhart County, highlighted the importance of sponsors in making the event a success.
“All of our sponsors are crucial. We couldn't make this a fun party without their donations,” Groves said. “Their support allows us to celebrate our builders properly.”
Crusie emphasized the significance of their partnership with the builders in providing high-speed fiber internet to many homes in the neighborhood.
“We believe it's critical to have affordable and quality housing, and we fully support the efforts of the Builders Association of Elkhart County,” Crusie said. “We're proud to be a broadband provider and partner for them, with fiber internet available in most homes in this neighborhood.”
As the evening progressed, guests gathered under a large tent for the awards ceremony. This moment was the highlight of the night, as it provided a formal recognition of the builders' hard work.
“We want to celebrate our builders,” Groves said. “They put a lot of work into these homes, and tonight we’re recognizing their dedication and effort.”
