The law firm of THK Law, LLP, is pleased to announce that Jessica B. Chalmers has joined the firm as an associate attorney, Estate Planning and Elder Law.

Before pursuing a legal career, Chalmers worked in the multi-family housing industry, including subsidized housing for elderly and disabled residents. Her passion for helping individuals navigate complex processes inspired her to attend law school and focus on estate planning and elder law.
Chalmers earned her law degree from Indiana University McKinney School of Law and also holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice and Public Safety from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). During law school, she volunteered with the Center for At-Risk Elders and served as a mentor advocate with the Re-Entry and Community Help Program, further solidifying her dedication to advocacy.
Having practiced elder law and estate planning at her previous firm, Chalmers brings a wealth of experience to THK Law. Her background includes crafting personalized estate plans, assisting clients with Medicaid applications, and representing families in probate matters.
Chalmers is a member of the National Academy for Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and the Indiana State Bar Association, reflecting her commitment to professional growth and excellence in serving her clients.
Chalmers’ addition to the team underscores THK Law’s commitment to providing exceptional service in Estate Planning and Elder Law to clients across Indiana and Michigan.
