Since its launch in July of 2024, GreatNews.Life’s fifth Life site Michiana.Life has quickly become the Michiana area’s go-to destination for positive-only local news.
Whether because of our coverage of groundbreaking news or the feel-good stories that tug at the heart, MIchiana.Life’s audience has grown to include 2,300 Facebook followers and 750+ newsletter subscribers who believe in the power of good. The 600 articles and 160 galleries we’ve published since launching have also reached over 65,000 people throughout Northern Indiana.
As GreatNews.Life closes the book on its biggest year ever, we wanted to reflect on some of the great things happening in Michiana that we were able to bring to our audience.
On the business end, our crew has brought these great stories and images to life, sharing positive people and projects that make a difference in our region. From Amazon Web Service’s $11 billion investment into the South Bend-Mishawaka metropolitan area to the massive expansion planned for the Morris Performing Arts Center, reporters from Michiana.Life were front and center for many of the biggest developments in the Michiana area.
Our team was also there to capture the smaller moments that demonstrate how connected Michiana’s local businesses are with the community. South Bend Cubs games, annual meetings, awards celebrations – Michiana.Life captures the human element of the businesses helping Michiana flourish.
Community engagement is in our DNA, and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time in Michiana with awesome groups like Center for Hospice Care and the Mishawaka community. You welcomed us to your festivals, your holidays, and everything fun that you wanted to spotlight in your community, and we’re grateful for the invite!
Sports and schools are where we spend a lot of our time, capturing incredible memories students and their families can keep for a lifetime. We believe that every student should have their greatest achievements immortalized, which is why we cover everything from major historical milestones to the Friday night football game entirely for free.
