GreatNews.Life Executive Director Jenny Craig-Brown is happy to announce the promotion of Ashley Spargo to Director of Operations.
“Ashley’s exceptional leadership, dedication to the team, and profound expertise have been invaluable assets to our team. I am immensely proud of her achievements and confident that her new role will further drive our company's success,” Craig-Brown said.
Spargo joined GreatNews.Life at the end of 2021 as the digital news network’s Editorial Director and quickly became a pillar of operations. Under Spargo’s leadership, GreatNews.Life has grown consistency, standards, and productivity thanks to the implementation of intelligent systems and tools all driven to grow individuals on their own and as members of the GreatNews.Life team.
“Ashley now handles so many aspects of our company because once she got involved, they worked better, communication was stronger, and to a driven person like me, results happen when she is involved,” said GreatNews.Life Founder Chris Mahlmann. "The combination of Jenny and Ashley running the show and the team that they have built of growing leaders that want to help each other every day, plus the army of Lifers in the field, makes this the most exciting summer in our history."
In her new position, Spargo will manage all the people and pieces that make GreatNews.Life a news network that impact our cities and yours. Whether she is in the field forming new community connections or behind the scenes organizing event coverage, Spargo is eager to continue developing GreatNews.Life and its community.
"I am beyond excited to continue to be one of the drivers that helps lead this company to success. I was able to come in and build processes and structures for all departments in the company to increase efficiency across the board. I'm excited to continue to spread good news across the Region with true belief in the mission behind what started this company 15 years ago," Spargo said.
Spargo’s dedication to GreatNews.Life’s success has been a driving force for the organization’s growth over the last few years. Her promotion is the next step in building GreatNews.Life as it expands into Michiana.
“Ashley has consistently demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to excellence, and I look forward to witnessing her continued impact in this position,” said Craig-Brown.
Outside of GreatNews.Life, Spargo is involved in the Northwest Indiana region as a small business owner and as a member of the philanthropic Kappa Kappa Kappa (Tri Kappa) service sorority.
